The current world situation has forced us, as a society in general and as policy makers, to think seriously about how to reduce the negative impact of human activity on the environment in which we live, while at the same time, in the face of a growing population, maximising productivity to enable us to live in comfort.

At DIH Slovenia, we believe that investing in digitalisation, advanced technologies, fostering innovation and continuous learning are the keys to achieving the desired results. We want every company that invests in digitalisation to think about the desired end goal, and this year's Go Digital conference will focus on setting green, sustainable goals.

Day 2 of the GoDigital conference, which will be held on 25th November at Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia is free to attend, but places are limited so advance registration is required.

PROGRAMME

8.30-9.00 Registration, welcome coffee

9.00-9.10 Welcome speech

mag. Katja Mohar Bastar, Director of the Digital Innovation Hub Slovenia

9.10-12.10 Workshop

The workshop will be held in cooperation between DIH Slovenia and Circular Change, an institute for circular economy. It is well known that it is easier for people to think about business solutions, even if they understand on an individual level what we are aiming for when we talk about climate change and new circular business models. We will start the workshop with a premiere test of the PSLifestyle tool, which allows each individual to get an insight into their carbon footprint. In the second part of the workshop, we will use practical examples to understand circular business models and the potential they offer.

12.10-12.40 Lunch break

12.40-14.00 Presentation and active discussion on selected good practices

The second part of the event will be dedicated to the presentation of selected good practices in the field of sustainable development and the use of digital technologies. 4 companies will present their good practices: Danfoss Trata, Anton Blaj d.o.o. - Blaj Fasteners, M Sora and Nil. We will then continue with an active discussion led by well-known marketing experts Edita Krajnović, Director of Mediade, and Tanja Kavran, Executive Director of the Marketing Association of Slovenia, as well as Katja Mohar Bastar, Director of DIH Slovenia, who will represent the field of digitalisation.
