FUTURE INDUSTRY 2022 CONFERENCE: Industry is female

Key global challenges, including the energy crisis, are changing the dynamics and the way teams, companies, societies and organisations operate. Women and men deal with crisis situations differently and bring specific skills and competences to crisis management and leadership.

Despite the knowledge that we are stronger together, women are still a minority in leadership positions. Did you know that the average gross monthly salary for women in Slovenia is also 4.2% lower than that of their male counterparts? Crises are also opportunities. That is why it is time to bridge the gender gap and strengthen cooperation between women and men professionals.

Join us at the Future Industry 2022 conference, where the role and importance of women's leadership will take centre stage. The conference will be opened by the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Mr Matjaž Han. In two roundtable discussions, women economists will discuss their views on crises as opportunities for development, the green, smart and creative future of industry, and the goal of getting breakthrough innovations through more women in teams.

Green technology innovations, trends and challenges will be presented by Anja von der Ropp from the World Intellectual Property Organisation and an inspiring keynote speech will be given by Ana Lukner Roljić, entrepreneur and founder of Ana's Star & Truhome.
