The future is digital – you can be a part of digital future also!
DIH Slovenia is a proud partner of the pan-European campaign ALL DIGITAL WEEK 2019, which will take place this week from March 25 to March 31, 2019. The campaign invites people to get involved and get to know the Internet and new technologies and win new digital skills for better personal and career development. Week ALL DIGITAL is the central initiative of the European network ALL DIGITAL, which is being conducted in Slovenia through Simbioza Genesis, a social enterprise. This year’s pan-European campaign invites people to get involved and learn about the Internet and new technologies and win new digital skills for better personal and career development.
The campaign promotes media literacy, security and trust in technology, and employability. It is intended for anyone who wants to check, win or upgrade their digital skills and media literacy through both education and free online tools where you can check your e-skills or find out where your professional strengths are.
Since 2011, Simbioza has been working towards an inclusive digital society through free digital arts training workshops for all generations and has involved more than 30,000 people in Slovenia in its computer software programs. Digital skills are one of the 8 key competences, as recommended by the European Parliament, which reflects the efficient use of digital technologies for informing, communicating and solving the basic challenges of work and everyday life. Also, the labor market requires competences related to digital literacy, so digital skills have become indispensable in lifelong learning and basic functional literacy.
